Position Overview
Cumulus Media | Nashville, TN in search of a hard-working Part-Time Promotions Coordinator. If you are looking to get a foot in the door to the radio industry, have an outgoing personality and have a passion for radio, this is a great opportunity for you! This job will consist of going out into the community to interact with listeners and promote our stations and general office duties, including receptionist duties as needed.

The Promotions Coordinator is an integral part of the Promotions Department helping ensure that our business partners are receiving the highest quality of work. This includes building promotional events and ideas from the ground up, executing digital campaigns, organizing on air content and contesting, and overseeing station events.
In the office, the Promotions Coordinator handles prize fulfillment, event preparation, contest building, brainstorming new ideas and other promotion-oriented tasks (such as maintaining station websites and social media as directed by the Promotions Director). The position also includes running errands and helping with vehicle maintenance, answering phones, and speaking to listeners that are claiming prizes.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning, organizing & execution of promotional events and digital campaigns.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on the fly.
  • Data Entry of Promotional events and contesting.
  • Work with promotional partners and gathering of prizes for giveaways.
  • Create e-blasts, social media posts & website posts; review promotional information and graphics.
  • Inventory and maintenance of prize closet, calendars, events for current and upcoming promotions.
  • Assisting the Promotions and Business Department with projects as needed in the office.
  • Assist with vehicle inspections, fuel and coordinating maintenance.
  • Maintain and storage of station equipment.

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of radio experience necessary
  • Must be 21 years of age or older, college education preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Reliable; have a flexible schedule and available to work at least 20 hours per week, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • May require lifting or moving up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Outgoing, energetic, detail-oriented, and responsible
  • Proficient using computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and WordPress
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Event experience and planning preferred
  • Strong Social Media skills with sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch and LinkdIn
  • Ability to learn new platforms (understanding of Microsoft 365 and vCreative is a plus)

Pay Range
USD $16.50 - USD $16.50 /Yr.
