Job description

Job Summary:
Cubic Corporation is a company that creates and delivers technology solutions in transportation and defense. They are seeking a V&V Engineer to apply fundamental engineering principles for the development and execution of test plans and procedures, working closely with engineering staff and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Interface with engineering staff to identify 'testable' features of the design.
โ€ข Review customer requirements and engineering documents to prepare system test requirements matrix.
โ€ข Write requirements-based test procedures according to standard Cubic practices.
โ€ข Interface with program management through life cycle of project.
โ€ข Interface with customer representatives during test phase.
โ€ข Conduct system testing according to plans and procedures.
โ€ข Write test reports.
โ€ข Demonstrate ability to multitask as needed by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Four-year college degree in computer science, computer engineering or other related technical discipline.
โ€ข Basic software engineering knowledge to include: language, compilers, architecture, development and operating systems.
โ€ข Intern or class project experience testing electro/mechanical devices and software applications.
โ€ข Necessary computer skills include: Test automation tools, JIRA, as well as, proficiency in MS Word, Excel and other MSOffice applications.
โ€ข Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
โ€ข Have no medical limitations on amount of time that can be spent word processing or working at a computer terminal.
โ€ข Read and interpret engineering drawings and software design documents.
