Join theRadiology team at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where we are dedicated to providing the highest quality, most compassionate care to patients.The vibrant, family and community culture offers you the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and focus on improving patient care.

In this role, the Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of CT procedures. You'll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcomepatients/visitors/staff& assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards. This position will cover inpatient and outpatient CT services.

This is a full-time position, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist, working an alternating schedule:

Week 1:

Sunday 3:30pm -11:30pm

Tuesday 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Wednesday 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Thursday 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Friday 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Week 2:

Monday 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Tuesday 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Thursday 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Friday 12:00pm - 8:00pm

Saturday 3:30pm - 11:30pm

Preferred Criteria:

  • N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification

  • ARRT Advanced Modality certification (CT)

  • At least 1 year of experience

Required Criteria:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology

  • N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
