Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and coordinate field operations for civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) scopes on active construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, managing subcontractors and field teams, and ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project schedules and quality standards.
The ideal candidate brings strong field leadership experience, technical knowledge of construction practices, and the ability to collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and site personnel. This position plays a critical role in maintaining jobsite productivity, resolving field challenges, and driving projects forward while upholding the company's commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities across civil, structural, and architectural scopes
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Manage subcontractors, manpower, and equipment to maintain productivity and meet project milestones
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules
  • Monitor site progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager regarding schedule, risks, and field issues
  • Identify and resolve on-site technical, coordination, and logistical challenges
  • Lead daily safety meetings and toolbox talks, reinforcing safety expectations and site regulations
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure proper sequencing of work and efficient use of resources

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • 4+ years of construction experience, with at least 2 years in a superintendent or field leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural construction practices
  • Proven leadership ability with experience managing subcontractors and field crews
  • Familiarity with construction scheduling, reporting tools, and field coordination processes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety and regulatory compliance
