Job description

Job Summary
The Peak Desk Attendant is the primary contact for guests entering the spa and fitness center. Their major responsibilities include providing the highest level of guest service, regulating guest access, handling retail transactions and distributing information.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor the Peak, which includes fitness center, motion studio, indoor pool & hot tub, retail area, lobby, and locker rooms.
  • Perform all daily desk operations, reservations, and retail transactions.
  • Be an information source to guests: answer all questions, schedule appointments and make suggestions based on the guest's individual needs. This includes communicating information regarding the basics of resort activities, programs, events and other departments' hours of operation.
  • Assist guests in person and on the phone.
  • Must be able to answer questions regarding Peak Fitness publications.
  • Complete opening and closing daily desk checklist.
  • Maintain Peak upkeep during shift, to include but not limited to folding towels and racking weights.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks to fitness center, retail area, pool area, and locker rooms, ensuring building is neat and clean.
  • Organize and/or lead member fitness tours, as needed.
  • Must understand and know about all products and sales in Peak Boutique store.
  • Refill locker room amenities and spa products per the refill program for guests.
  • Understand the basics of the spa menu and products in order to communicate knowledgeably with guests.
  • Uphold and support high expectations in Safety and Quality Programming.
  • Assist with back of the house upkeep.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Computer application experience.

Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified in CPR and AED preferred.

Physical & Other Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Evenings, weekends and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
  • Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.
  • Non-smoking candidates preferred.
