Job Title: Retail Store Manager – Airsoft Store

Evike Outpost PA, Inc. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the store. This role requires an individual who can deliver exceptional customer experience, drive sales growth, and foster a thriving environment for both internal and external customers.

Job Summary

The manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail operations, including sales, inventory management, merchandising, staff development, and ensuring compliance with all safety and legal regulations pertaining to airsoft equipment. This role combines strong business management skills with an interest in the sport of airsoft. The manager will ensure the store delivers exceptional customer service, maintains compliance with safety and legal regulations related to airsoft equipment, and creates a welcoming environment for airsoft enthusiasts of all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Customer Experience
  • Lead the store team in achieving sales goals and profitability.
  • Provide expert advice and product demonstrations to help customers choose airsoft guns, gear, and accessories suited to their needs.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service and product knowledge among all staff.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Foster a culture of professionalism, enthusiasm for the sport, and teamwork.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.

Store Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and safety regulations concerning airsoft replicas and related products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe retail environment, including secure handling of airsoft guns and gas canisters.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate product replenishment and special orders.

Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Collaborate with marketing teams or local clubs to promote events, sponsorships, and social media engagement.

Inventory & Merchandising

  • Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory counts, and minimize shrinkage.
  • Ensure visually appealing and accurate merchandising of airsoft equipment, tactical gear, and accessories.
  • Analyze sales trends to identify popular products and adjust inventory accordingly.

Reporting & Administration

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare reports for management and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Manage staff schedules and administrative duties efficiently.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or professional training in Business, Retail Management, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of retail management experience, with a strong preference for experience in sporting goods, tactical gear, or hobby store.
  • A demonstrated knowledge and interest in airsoft or related industry is highly preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and inventory management tools.
