Title : Developer Engineer - Crypto Services
Location : Austin, TX(Onsite)
Skillset :

Required : Java, Cryptographic concepts, Cryptographic signing and encryption, Unix Bash, Network security, SSL, Customer focus
Nice to have: Distributed Systems, Web Application Security and Cryptography, Splunk, Networking and Communication Protocols, Encryption/Decryption)
Key Skills :
Expertise in Java; architecture, design, development and support
Understand security concepts to build reliable and safe distributed applications
Creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
Experience of supporting an application from either a SRE or other customer or user support role
Work Summary
In this role you will provide frontline support for the team. You will need to monitor communication channels, screen questions, point users to the correct documentation or application to help them, and when needed engage with the correct team members in Crypto Services to fix the issue for the user.
Lastly, as part of this job you will aid the Application Engineering Team in collection metrics on types of issues users face and make suggestions on possible ways to help them avoid those issues.
Expectations:
Monitor and respond to communication channels for questions and onboarding requests.
Keep analytics and metrics updated.
Assist users as much as possible before engaging with other Crypto Services staff members.
Look for new and innovative ways to prevent repeated user issues. This can be in the form of tooling, documentation or application changes. For some issues you will need to use the analytics and data to drive internal team changes.
Work on internal tools, scripts, and other features
