Job description

About the Role
Crypto.com is looking for a Sales Lead who wants to be at the center of one of the most compelling intersections in financial markets today - regulated derivatives and digital assets. As Sales Lead, you'll own the growth of our Exchange business in the US, building and managing relationships with the firms, traders, and institutions actively operating in - or exploring - binary derivatives and CFTC-regulated crypto products.
This isn't a role where you're handed a playbook and told to execute. You'll be building a client base in a market still taking shape, working closely with product, legal, and compliance teams to structure deals and bring new offerings to market. If you've been watching the regulated digital asset space evolve and want to be the person driving institutional adoption, this is that opportunity.
What You'll Do
  • Own the full sales cycle for institutional and professional clients across our Exchange products in the US market
  • Identify, prospect, and develop relationships with trading firms, hedge funds, family offices, and other institutional participants active in derivatives and digital asset markets
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, managing onboarding, ongoing relationship development, and revenue growth
  • Partner closely with product, legal, and compliance teams to structure client agreements and bring tailored solutions to market
  • Represent Crypto.com at industry events, conferences, and in client meetings as a subject matter expert in CFTC-regulated derivatives and digital asset products
  • Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to inform product roadmap priorities
  • Track pipeline, activity, and revenue metrics - you'll be accountable for measurable outcomes

What We're Looking For
  • Direct experience working within or selling into CFTC-regulated markets - this is a hard requirement; experience at a DCM, FCM, or with CFTC-regulated derivatives products is strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of institutional sales or business development experience in financial markets, with demonstrated success closing and managing complex client relationships
  • CME Group experience (as a client, employee, or selling to CME-adjacent firms) is a significant plus
  • Existing network of relationships with trading firms, hedge funds, or institutional market participants in the derivatives and/or digital asset space
  • Strong understanding of binary options, derivatives mechanics, or exchange-traded products
  • Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment where the market structure itself is still evolving
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with legal, compliance, and product teams to navigate regulatory nuances
  • Excellent communicator - able to explain complex products clearly to sophisticated clients and internal stakeholders alike

$100,000 - $250,000 a year
$100,000 - $250,000 base + RSU equity + annual bonus
