JOB SUMMARY

The Onboard Marketing Lead is responsible for driving the execution of strategic and tactical marketing initiatives to maximize guest engagement and revenue performance across the NCLH fleet. This role involves leading promotional activities, overseeing collateral development, and collaborating closely with cross-functional leadership to ensure a premium, seamless guest experience both pre-cruise and onboard.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the coordination and delivery of high-impact marketing campaigns across key onboard revenue channels, including Shore Excursions, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Retail.
  • Oversee the development of marketing assets, digital signage, and print collateral, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Manage the digital presence of onboard revenue verticals across ncl.com and the NCL app, spearheading product launches and functionality enhancements.
  • Partner with internal departments (Creative, Digital, Operations) and external vendors to execute marketing strategies and promotional events.
  • Synthesize performance data into comprehensive project reports and presentations for management review, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.
  • Facilitate and contribute to brainstorming sessions regarding digital roadmaps, new initiatives, and special revenue-generating projects.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for onboard marketing efforts, performing other job-related duties as assigned to support the team's objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE:

Bachelor's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY:

Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Finance, Marketing, or a related field

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing, Advertising, or a related corporate environment.
  • Strong Project Management and/or Relationship Management experience is required.
  • Experience with Strategy Management is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the cruise, travel, or hospitality industry is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar e-commerce platforms is preferred.

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

  • Acute attention to detail and a proven ability to spot and correct process inefficiencies.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, including strong proofreading and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing improvements.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
