Position Summary

OLA Vacations is seeking an accomplished Senior Manager or Director of Marketing to lead the company's global marketing organization and drive customer acquisition, brand awareness, customer retention, and revenue growth across all sales channels.

This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing the company's overall marketing strategy while managing marketing teams located in both the United States and Asia. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of marketing, including brand management, digital marketing, website strategy, Salesforce CRM, customer lifecycle marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), paid media, analytics, marketing automation, and AI-driven marketing initiatives.This position requires extensive hands-on experience, leading enterprise Salesforce CRM strategy and customer database management, as well as significant cruise industry marketing experience. These qualifications are considered essential, and candidates without both will not be considered. The position works closely with Executive Leadership, Technology, AI Development, Sales, Customer Service, Revenue Management, and strategic business partners to support the company's aggressive growth objectives.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Marketing Leadership

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and long-term brand equity.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of marketing managers, supervisors, coordinators, designers, and digital marketing specialists located throughout the United States and Asia. Establish departmental goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), budgets, and performance standards while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Present marketing strategies, campaign performance, financial results, and growth initiatives to executive leadership. Build scalable marketing processes capable of supporting rapid business expansion.

Salesforce CRM & Customer Database Leadership

Serve as the executive owner of the company's Salesforce CRM ecosystem and customer database strategy.


Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing the overall Salesforce CRM roadmap.
  • Managing and optimizing the company's customer database.
  • Leading customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • Overseeing lead management, lead scoring, and marketing automation.
  • Developing customer journeys using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or comparable platforms.
  • Improving customer retention, repeat bookings, and customer lifetime value.
  • Ensuring CRM data quality, governance, and integrity.
  • Partnering with Technology and AI teams to enhance customer personalization and predictive marketing.
  • Creating executive dashboards and marketing performance reporting.
  • Expanding and optimizing the CRM database to support long-term revenue growth.

Extensive experience with Salesforce CRM, marketing automation, customer database management, and lifecycle marketing is required.


Cruise Industry Marketing


The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the cruise industry, cruise consumer behavior, supplier relationships, and cruise marketing strategies.


Responsibilities include:

  • Managing cruise line cooperative marketing programs.
  • Building supplier marketing relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of enterprise Salesforce CRM leadership, including customer database strategy and marketing automation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of cruise industry marketing experience.
  • Proven experience leading marketing teams across multiple locations or international markets.
  • Experience managing annual marketing budgets exceeding $10 million.
  • Demonstrated success developing integrated, data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities.
  • Experience presenting marketing strategies and business performance to executive leadership.
