Position: Client Services Director (Business Development & Marketing)

Industry: Engineering / Forensics / Insurance Claims

Employment Type: Full-Time | Exempt

Reports To: Executive Leadership


Overview:

We are seeking a Client Services Director to support business growth, strengthen client relationships, and lead marketing and client engagement initiatives. This role works closely with executive leadership and technical teams to identify new business opportunities, expand existing client partnerships, and ensure a high level of service delivery.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-driven business development and strategic marketing, without requiring experience managing a large national sales team. Title is intentionally broad and flexible based on experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within engineering, forensics, and related industries
  • Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with clients, referral sources, and industry partners
  • Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, conferences, and seminars
  • Support marketing initiatives and positioning efforts aligned with business growth goals
  • Partner with internal technical teams to ensure client expectations and service standards are met
  • Track and report on business development performance metrics and revenue goals
  • Assist leadership with recruiting and talent attraction efforts as needed
  • Support project workflow coordination to ensure responsiveness to client needs
  • Oversee temporary or supplemental staff during large-scale or catastrophic events, when applicable


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, client services, marketing, or related roles
  • Experience within engineering, forensics, insurance claims, construction, or professional services strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation experience
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines

Compensation:

Compensation is flexible and experience-dependent, based on industry background, years of experience, and the strength of existing professional relationships.
