  • Work location: Texas Health Southwest
  • Work hours: Fulltime 40 hours per week Day Shift, Call and some holidays are required.
  • Work Environment: Surgery
    Job Description:

  • OR Circulating - Collaborates with other team members (including anesthesiologist, surgeon, surgical technologist, etc) to ensure the safety of patients during the operation.
  • Serves as clinical liaison to staff, surgeons and vendors. Promotes engagement through open lines of communication. Organizes face-to-face meetings as needed. Communicates products and services. Completes special projects and events as needed.
  • Actively participates in training, orientation and mentoring of staff members while facilitating education on service line clinical, administrative, legal and financial requirements.
  • Maintains par levels of special equipment and supply orders items specific to service line.
  • Ensures that accurate and timely charges incorporated into service line surgeon preference cards.
  • Works with clinical manager to coordinate capital and non-capital budget needs for service line.
  • Attends and participates in clinical facilitator meetings.
