What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Weekend Only Part Time employee, and why are they important?

To excel as a Weekend Only Part Time employee, you need reliability, time management, and a willingness to adapt to flexible schedules, with any required qualifications varying by industry (such as a high school diploma or specific job-related training). What are 'Weekend Only Part Time' jobs?

'Weekend Only Part Time' jobs are positions that require employees to work exclusively on Saturdays and/or Sundays, typically with fewer hours than a full-time schedule. These roles are ideal for students, individuals with weekday commitments, or those seeking supplemental income. Common examples include retail, hospitality, healthcare, and customer service roles. Weekend only positions often offer flexibility, but work hours and requirements may vary depending on the employer. It's important to review job postings carefully to understand specific expectations for weekend shifts.

What are some common challenges faced by employees working weekend-only part-time roles?

Weekend-only part-time employees often face challenges such as balancing their weekend work schedule with personal or family commitments, as weekends are typically reserved for social or leisure activities. Additionally, they may experience a different team dynamic since not all full-time staff may be present, which can impact communication and support. However, these roles offer flexibility for those seeking extra income or who have weekday obligations, and they provide valuable experience in time management and adaptability.

  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, security issues, or damage to Vivant property
  • Use a mobile application or technology, smartphone/device required
  • Return supplies and equipment to a distributed or central location
  • Conduct special cleaning projects as assigned

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • A professional with a positive attitude, who has the ability to work effectively both in a team environment as well as independently
  • Previous housekeeping experience
  • A professional who can embrace the use of mobile applications and technology
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of sanitation products, cleaning techniques, and methods

  • This role requires regular access to a reliable smartphone, reliable transportation (vehicle), and a willingness to travel between properties on a daily basis when working
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Must work weekends
  • This is a part-time, weekend-only position

We also have great benefits to make your life easier so you can focus on what you’re best at:

  • $200 sign-on bonus after 60 days
  • Snacks and drinks at the office
  • Frequent and consistent performance assessments and potential incremental raises based on performance
  • A company with a huge vision, a dynamic work environment, and a team of smart, ambitious, and fun to work-with colleagues!

We are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status or other protected classes.
