Job description

About Inscribe
At Inscribe, we're on a mission to catch fraud with confidence. In 2017, we set out to build the first document fraud detection product. Today, we process millions of applications each year and work with many of the leading fintechs and banks across the U.S. We believe the game of cat-and-mouse in fraud requires a fundamentally new approach. With care for our customers, attention to detail, and grounded execution, we're reimagining how fraud is detected and prevented.
Inscribe is trusted by leading banks and fintechs, including Coinbase, Plaid, Bluevine, and Ramp. Inscribe is backed by Threshold Ventures, Uncork Capital, Y Combinator, Crosslink Capital, and Foundry, and is headquartered in San Francisco, CA.
The Opportunity
As a Mid-Market Account Executive (our 2nd AE), you'll be at the forefront of Inscribe's growth, helping define how we sell as we scale. This isn't a plug-and-play role. We're looking for someone hungry. Someone who wants to win, build, and have a real impact on the trajectory of the company.
You'll own the full sales cycle with fintechs and financial institutions, building relationships with senior decision-makers and showing them how Inscribe can fundamentally transform their operations. If you love complex, consultative sales and want to operate in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment alongside a sharp, low-ego team, then you'll thrive here.
Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close
  • Build deep, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across risk, fraud, and operations teams
  • Identify real customer pain points and position Inscribe's solutions in a clear, compelling way
  • Drive net new business within a defined target account list
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and deliver accurate weekly forecasts
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product and Marketing to win deals
  • Represent Inscribe at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings
  • Leverage AI tools and creative approaches to improve efficiency, outreach, and deal execution
About You
  • 2+ years in a full-cycle, quota-carrying SaaS sales role (ideally selling into mid-market fintech, financial services, or B2B AI)
  • A proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota
  • Hungry, competitive, and motivated by winning (not just participating)
  • Strong ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • High ownership mindset - you don't wait, you figure things out and make them happen
  • Naturally curious and excited to experiment with AI tools to improve how you sell
  • Highly personable and able to quickly build trust with both customers and teammates
  • Clear, empathetic communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, scrappy startup environment
Interview Process
  1. Intro Call with our CEO / Cofounder to walk through your experience (30 minutes)
  2. Peer Interview with our Account Executive team member to understand day-to-day expectations and assess team add (30 mins)
  3. Values & Motivation Interview with the Head of People to understand your goals and expectations (30 minutes)
  4. In-Person Exercise with our Cofounders to evaluate your sales approach and relationship building skills (1 hour)

The on-target earnings (OTE) for this role range from $230,000 to $240,000, with a competitive base salary and commission structure (typically a 50/50 split), plus uncapped commission and accelerators for top performance. Actual compensation will vary based on experience, skills, and internal equity considerations across the team.
Benefits
At Inscribe, we are building a company and culture where everyone can produce their best work. Here are a few of our benefits and perks:
  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity
  • Comprehensive healthcare
  • Unlimited vacation policy
  • 401(k) and pension plans
  • Complete work setup
  • Monthly wellness stipend
