Dynamics CRM Developer
Remote role
Compensation: $60-$70 per hour
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Dynamics CRM Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain complex Microsoft Dynamics software systems. This role requires full-stack development expertise, technical leadership, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions that align with business and user needs. The Dynamics CRM Developer will translate business requirements into technical designs, implement code-based solutions, integrate with enterprise systems, and promote best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, experience with RESTful APIs (preferably MuleSoft), advanced programming concepts, and the ability to lead and mentor development teams. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of business processes and technical environments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions to meet complex business requirements
  • Break down business needs into technical designs and implement them in code
  • Develop solutions that integrate with enterprise monitoring, logging, and other systems
  • Work with cross-functional teams to build and deliver scalable, high-performing solutions
  • Conduct thorough and constructive code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
  • Ensure code is flexible, easy to support, and minimizes future maintenance
  • Promote and follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and organizational project management standards
  • Analyze and resolve high-level production and operational problems, escalating when needed
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of the business systems and processes supported
  • Recommend emerging technologies and improvements to systems and processes
  • Actively participate in designing new projects and enhancements
  • Guide system and user acceptance testing to ensure solution quality
  • Implement solutions that are technically sound, functionally appropriate, and well-integrated
  • Estimate effort, track progress, and report status accurately for development initiatives

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience (9 years in IT environment in lieu of degree)
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, with prior industry experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM development and related technologies
  • Experience implementing RESTful APIs using MuleSoft
  • Expertise in advanced programming concepts (e.g., queuing, threading)
  • Proficient in required programming languages and technologies
  • Strong understanding of software development practices, SDLC, and DevOps processes
  • Ability to design, develop, test, and maintain complex software systems
  • Experience leading multiple development efforts and work teams
  • Excellent communication, partnering, and negotiation skills to serve as a lead liaison between business customers and technology teams
  • Ability to conduct code reviews and ensure code quality
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve production issues
  • Ability to coach and mentor junior developers and lead teams
  • Understanding of business processes in relevant domains
  • Ability to manage projects using organizational project management methodologies
  • Understanding of the impact of design decisions on system performance, technical behavior of operating systems, compilers, middleware, and data layers
