Job description

Job Purpose:

The Deployment Specialist plays a crucial role in successfully implementing and deploying our field crews to projects. This individual will bolster our resources dedicated to coordinating, managing, and executing the deployment process, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality to meet the unique demands of each project. The Deployment Specialist will work closely with the Director of Deployment and various departments, including Logistics, Project Management, and Human Resources, to allow our field crews to exceed client and company expectations by executing their work safely, with the highest standard of quality, and with purpose-driven efficiency.

Essential Duties Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain crew assignments on the schedule and assist the Deployment Team on CCR and Tank Schedules within the schedule on the Intranet.
  2. Enter and distribute weekly Deployment schedule to Superintendents, PMs, RLs and RMs.
  3. Manpower Movements - Add Projects accurately to field crews in a timely manner via CostPoint.
  4. Assist in making sure all new projects are placed on the crew schedule in an efficient and timely manner.
  5. Liaison between Internal Support and Execution to make sure budgets are loaded.
  6. Liaison between Risk and Deployment to make sure fully executed contracts are in place prior to a project start.
  7. Maintain weekly posted labor and account detail spreadsheet (used by PMs to update CCTS).
  8. Link Crew Members to schedule for reporting and historical data, after payroll is posted each week.
  9. Take detailed notes during scheduling meetings with PMs.
  10. Send out reporting as requested by Director of Deployment.
  11. Assist Director of Deployment with weekly forecasting.
  12. Support the DOD with schedule changes in between formal scheduling meetings.
  13. Maintain crew mapping spreadsheets for CCR and Tank crews. Includes total field crew members and divisional breakdown of crew members.
  14. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills
  • Must be team player and able to work well with a diverse group of personnel.
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle a multitude of projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate planning and organizational skills, including the ability to anticipate tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and function smoothly under strict deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Proficient understanding of typical construction materials and methods
  • Excellent customer service with owners and contractors
  • Strong budgeting and organizational skills

Other requirements:

  • Pass an extensive background check.
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License, with a clean driving record and insurance.
  • Must be able to evaluate new technologies, learn and implement these into our processes.
