Mitigation Crew ChiefOCI Restoration IICRC Certified Firm
Raleigh, NC | Full-Time | On-Call Rotation Required
OCI Restoration, an IICRC Certified Firm, is seeking an experienced Mitigation Crew Chief to lead water, fire, mold, and specialty mitigation projects in the Raleigh, NC market.
This is an opportunity to work under a Triple Master Educated Restorer in a growing restoration company committed to IICRC standards, proper documentation, and doing mitigation the right way.
We are building a serious restoration operation not a production-only model.
Position Overview
The Mitigation Crew Chief is responsible for:
  • Leading field crews on residential and light commercial losses
  • Executing mitigation projects in accordance with ANSI/IICRC S500, S520, and S700 standards
  • Developing and adjusting drying strategies based on psychrometrics and job conditions
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, moisture logs, and photo records
  • Serving as the primary on-site contact for property owners and adjusters
  • Identifying scope changes and communicating with management
This role requires both technical competence and leadership maturity.
Required Qualifications
  • WRT certification (Required)
  • 23+ years hands-on mitigation experience
  • Strong understanding of structural drying and moisture mapping
  • Ability to interpret and apply IICRC standards in the field
  • Valid drivers license
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
Preferred Certifications
  • ASD
  • FSRT
  • AMRT
  • OCT or other advanced certifications
Candidates actively pursuing Master-level certifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
