Job description

HK Solutions Group is seeking a Crew Lead to work in our Structure Rehab division (concrete, construction work). This Crew Lead position can be based in Kansas City, MO or Sioux Falls, SD. Leadership skills are a must. Concrete and/or construction experience is a huge plus!

Job Functions

Lead a small crew (2-4 people) to accomplish tasks related to:

  • Rehabilitate structures with cementitious coating, hydraulic/chemical grout, fiberglass inserts and Monoform
  • Remove and replace manhole frame and covers
  • Build new manhole bench and inverts
  • Seal and stop infiltration around pipe connections, seams and cracks
  • Install various frame seal products

 

Preferred Skills & Abilities

  • Concrete and/or construction experience
  • Experience operating skid steer, mini-excavator, jack hammer, concrete saw and small-hand tools

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Good driving record
  • Must be able to pass pre-hire background check, drug screen and physical
  • CDL (Commercial Driver License) is preferred, but not required
  • Frequent overnight travel required >75% (you'll drive Hydro-Klean vehicles to work sites)
  • Must be able to work overtime hours regularly

Physical Requirements

  • Working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions
  • Regularly exposed to industrial environments involving equipment, elevated work areas, confined spaces, noise, dust, hazardous materials and odors
  • Lift/move up to 75 pounds frequently, frequently performs tasks requiring climbing, crawling, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying and gripping
