Job description

Position Description:

This position, directly reporting to the CAO of SFI, will operate as the corporate credit risk manager responsible for all SFI Credit & Collection activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manages the SFI Credit and Collections Team. Responsibilities include:

o Oversee the approval and assigning of credit limits on new and existing accounts.

o Become the subject matter administrative expert on every major customer

o Identify and closely monitors and analyzes high risk customers.

o Develop and implement credit strategies and collections processes that ultimately result in improved cash flow and lower bad debt with an appropriate balance to sales.

o Maintain & enhance key performance metrics for the corporate credit function to measure, monitor, and drive improvement in credit extension & collection efforts and the establishment of a continuous improvement culture.

o Oversee dispute resolution process. Review with management the accrual and write-offs for bad debts

o Participates in national and industry credit organization including the Furniture Manufacturer's Credit Association.
