This role supports the Director of Shared Financial Services in assessing creditworthiness, monitoring customer exposure, managing credit limits, and contributing to process improvements within the Order-to-Cash function.
The Senior Credit Analyst serves as a subject matter expert in credit evaluation, collaborating with internal stakeholders to balance risk mitigation with commercial opportunity. The role influences decisions through detailed analysis, recommendations, and cross-functional communication but does not carry direct policy or managerial authority.
Main Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and analyze customer credit applications, financial statements, and payment history to determine credit limits and terms.
  • Recommend credit decisions and risk mitigation strategies to management within defined authority levels.
  • Support the administration of the company's credit insurance program, including reporting, claim documentation, and coordination with providers.
  • Monitor customer account status and payment behaviors to identify early warning indicators of potential risk.
  • Assist in preparing credit risk reports, exposure summaries, and portfolio analyses for management review.
  • Support internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, and Accounts Receivable) in resolving credit-related disputes and inquiries.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining credit review workflows and enhancing data quality.
