As a Growth Strategist, you will be responsible for delivering marketing strategies and tactics within scope for Credit Cards. You will provide valuable thought partnership to product owners in creating end-to-end marketing strategies, including account acquisition, customer retention and demand generation. Your responsibilities will also include managing a marketing budget within scope and recommending allocations among tactics within business/product line strategies. As the Growth Strategist for Credit Card, your primary responsibilities are toย nurture and build brand equity for Citizens' card offerings using contemporary marketing methods to drive interest, adoption and usage of the various Credit Cards on offer. This is both a strategic and executional role in which you will lead the development, advocacy, execution, assessment, and continuous improvement of integrated marketing plans.ย ย 

ย Primary responsibilities include:

  • Develop and help lead marketing strategy and vision to achieve overall business objectives and revenue goals
  • Influence and partner with cross-functional team to design and deliver quarterly and annual integrated marketing plans (spanning all channels - media (paid/earned/mass), digital,ย direct mail, email, social, collateral, etc. to achieve business line goals and objectives.
  • Manage a team to help execute on plans across acquisition and portfolio management.
  • Serve as primary liaison between business lines and marketing partners, ensuring the broader marketing team is fullyย versed on all aspects of business line products, pricing, value proposition and competitive differentiatorsย 
  • Partner with the Credit Card business leadership teams as well as key business partners to ensure understanding of and alignment on marketing strategy/plans and strategic prioritiesย 
  • Navigate and prioritize requests from various line of business stakeholders while continuing to play the role as a thought leader and expert in this space
  • Proactive in managing risk, ensure all programs are implemented in full compliance with defined processes and regulatory guidelines
  • Ensure closed-loop analytics to measure marketing performance vs. forecast and continually refineย 

ย Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong ability to think strategically and creativelyย 
  • Credit Card marketing experience including advertising, direct, digital and public relations
  • Strong channel experience in digital marketing including search, display, social and content
  • Experience developing insightful and clear creative, marketing, advertising and/or media briefs, using research, data, personas, and customer journey maps
  • Ability and desire to work well within a team and test and learn
  • Experience managing directly/indirectly/influencing
  • Ability to review data, interpret results and create actionable and measurable strategiesย 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering on schedule/budget
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A go-getter and a doer who is accountable and has high expectations for their work
  • Attention to detailย 
  • Minimum 10+ years of marketing experience

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: M-F 8-5 Hybrid Schedule 4ย days in office in Westwood MA , Charlotte NC or Newark DE and 1 day remote.ย 

ย Pay Transparencyย 

The salary range for this position is $155,000 - $200,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
