The 3P Credit Card Installments team owns the services that enable third-party credit card issuers across North America to deliver compelling financial offer experiences to Amazon customers. Our mission: connect the right financial offer to the right customer at the right time.
We partner with leading banks across NA to bring seamless Buy Now, Pay Later experiences to customers - no application required. We are an AI native team and our work sits at the intersection of technology, using payment services, and banking partnerships, tackling complex, high-impact problems that shape how millions of customers pay on Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
- Define, design, and implement AI Native multi-tier distributed software applications.
- Deliver high quality distributed system software using AIDLC lifecycle.
- Estimate support effort, plan implementation of quality features, and rollout system changes that meet requirements for functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and adherence to development goals and principles.
- Automate partner integration using AI-DLC and ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables.
- Must be able to effectively collaborate in a fast paced environment with multiple teams in a large organization (software development, QA, Project/Release Management, Build and Release, etc).
- Provide on-call production support for payment platform applications

We are an AI-native team - our engineers exclusively use the AI Development Lifecycle (AI DLC) across all stages of software delivery, from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and operations. AI-assisted development is not supplemental to our workflow; it is our workflow.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
