The Accounting Assistant plays a key role in managing the company's credit card program and supporting core accounting functions. Responsibilities include reviewing credit card receipts for compliance, attaching documentation, and communicating with cardholders across all levels of the organization to ensure accurate coding and reconciliation. The role also involves issuing and canceling cards, monitoring usage for policy adherence, and assisting with inquiries and reporting. Additional duties include supporting invoice generation, accounts payable coding and approvals, and processing transactions against open material purchase orders.
