Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

โ€ข 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

โ€ข 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

โ€ข 3 months of travel experience is required.

โ€ข Experience with Epic is required.

โ€ข Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

โ€ข Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).

โ€ข This role may require floating to additional units and locations

โ€ข Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >40 miles from facility to be submitted.

โ€ข No current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Deaconess Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
  • Skillset: Remote tele, chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, straight Cath/Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood/blood product administration, tracheostomy are, PCA management.
  • Teaching hospital, may require precepting of students & new-hires

Required Credentials: Associate Degree or Certificate

Shift & Scheduling: Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: First to float within skillset. Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY โ€“ 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
