What does a creator manager do?

A Creator Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting content creators, such as influencers or artists, to help them grow their brand and manage collaborations. They act as a liaison between creators and brands, negotiating deals, handling contracts, and ensuring that campaigns run smoothly. Creator Managers also provide strategic advice to creators on content, audience engagement, and monetization opportunities, ensuring creators reach their professional goals.

How does a creator manager typically collaborate with content creators to ensure successful campaigns?

As a Creator Manager, you will work closely with content creators to align campaign goals, provide creative direction, and manage deliverables. This involves regular communication to clarify expectations, review content drafts, and offer constructive feedback. Job description

Social Commerce and Creator Manager

Join TUSHY on our #1 mission to change the way you go #2

Why TUSHY:

We're cleaning butts and elevating the bathroom experience for all Real Pooping Humans. If you're looking to join a team of taboo-breaking, passionate innovators and creatives working to revolutionize bathroom habits for a healthier, cleaner and more sustainable future, TUSHY is the place for you!

Overview:

TUSHY is looking for a Social Commerce Manager to build and own where content meets checkout. You'll scale revenue across TikTok Shop and Meta's social commerce surfaces while building the creator and affiliate ecosystem that gets Real Pooping Humans talking about bidets-in relatable, authentic, convincing ways. You're as energized by reading last week's GMV as you are by recruiting the next great creator, and you're ready to help turn social commerce into a real growth engine for a beloved cult brand as we scale.

You'll be reporting directly to our Growth Lead with oversight from our Brand Lead as well, making sure every creator, livestream, and promo ladders up to our business goals and brand voice.

This position is currently hybrid, with the expectation to be present at least 3 days a week in our Dumbo, Brooklyn (NY) office.

What You'll Doo:

  • Own TUSHY's social commerce strategy across TikTok Shop and Meta-driving GMV through smart merchandising, pricing, promotions, and most importantly content and creator partnerships that convert.
  • Build, scale, and manage TUSHY's creator and affiliate network across TikTok Shop, Meta, YouTube, while also fostering environments for community and connection in adjacent platforms like Discord, Whatsapp, or Lark.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing creators and affiliates-equipping them with the necessary education, assets, and incentives.
  • Liaise directly with our agencies to coordinate product seeding and performance efforts across paid channels.
  • Develop tiered earning models, playbooks, and incubation programs that develop creators from first sale to top sellers.
  • Own Tik Tok Shops storefront and catalog management and optimization, including listings, pricing, promotions, inventory syncs, and product performance analysis.
  • Build TUSHY's livestream commerce program-cadence, format, talent strategy, and the run of show that sells-and coach talent to convert on camera (hop on as host yourself if you're comfortable).
  • Cultivate a creator community that feels like TUSHY, and plan small events and creator moments (meetups, product previews, launch drops) that build loyalty and word of mouth.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Growth, Brand, Creative, and CX to keep every promo and asset on-brand, platform-native, and aligned to overall business strategy.
  • Own measurement across social shop sales with halo, livestream performance, affiliate conversion, and community health-and turn reporting into clear recommendations for leadership.
  • Stay ahead of platform features, formats, cultural trends, and what's actually converting-and move first.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in social commerce, e-commerce, influencer marketing, or creator partnerships, with a proven track record scaling GMV on TikTok Shops.
  • Experience building and managing an affiliate or creator network from the ground up.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok- and Meta-native content and what makes it convert.
  • Analytical rigor and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills-creators want to work with you, and cross-functional partners trust you.
  • Comfortable operating in an environment with evolving priorities, rapid launches, and bold bets.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Bonus: on-camera or livestream hosting experience, or a background with humor-forward lifestyle or wellness brands.
  • Passion for changing how America poops and demonstrated insatiable curiosity

Who You Are:

  • Builder-operator: You'll build the creator engine and run the day-to-day
  • Revenue-minded: Every merchandising and creative choice ladders up to GMV, you know what converts, not just what looks good.
  • Relationship-driven: Creators perform because of how you coach, champion, and show up for them.
  • High-output, high-quality: Volume doesn't faze you, and neither does a tight feedback loop.
  • Culturally tuned-in: You stay ahead of trends and understand what makes content resonate online and IRL.
  • Collaborative to the core: You love being in the trenches with cross-functional partners.
  • Calm under pressure: You bring clarity and levity even when priorities shift or timelines are tight.
  • Self-directed: You own your numbers without needing hand-holding.

Benefits:

  • 6 Medical plans to choose from with the base individual premium plan covered by TUSHY for all eligible employees, plus Dental, Vision and more
  • Complimentary access to resources such as One Medical, Teladoc, Talkspace, Kindbody, etc.
  • 401K program with 4% employer match
  • Health Saving Account & Flexible Savings Account contribution options
  • 15 Paid time off (PTO) to start increasing to 21 days based on tenure
  • "Summer Fridays" (3 pm end) from Memorial Day through Labor Day
  • 10 Company Paid Holidays, holiday break at the end of the year and more
  • $500 Annual Personal Development Stipend
  • NYC Commuter benefits
  • Annual charitable donation matching program
  • Free NYC Citibike
  • Full suite of TUSHY products for your home, including subscriptions to super-sustainable and soft bamboo TP and toilet-brush pads plus 5 TUSHY bidets per year to gift to friends and family!

Our Values:

  • Be You, Boo: You offer a unique and valuable perspective.
  • Be Menschy: A mensch does the right thing, and is someone to emulate.
  • Think Hole-istically: See the hole ass picture.
  • Own Your Sh*t: Be mindful and behindful; your actions affect the entire team.
  • Push Bun-daries: Always be iterating, innovating and ideating.

At TUSHY, we believe in leveraging our hiring process as a way to support transparency. The annual base salary for this position is $80,000-90,000 USD. We note salary information as a general guideline only, as actual compensation may vary based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, key skills, education, training and business considerations.
