Construction Survey Crew Chief – Fort McMurray, AB


who, ideally, has experience in the Construction Survey sector and has a desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.


The Work:


  • Survey facilities, layouts, piles, grading on various construction sites throughout Western Canada
  • Willing and able to travel as shift work may last up to 21 days
  • Work is outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
  • Follow safety protocol
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to survey assistants
  • Prepare clear, concise and accurate field notes, records and calculations


What you bring to the table:


  • Strong focus on relationships, both internal and external to Connexa
  • Desire for excellence in all that you do
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to liaise with clients
  • Creativity
  • A degree/diploma from a technical college in Geomatics
  • Experience leading a construction survey crew
  • Experience performing precise layout and control surveys
  • Experience working on industrial and commercial construction sites
