Description:

 The  Systems Administrator works directly with the Director of Virtual Systems and other departmental personnel to perform position requirements, workflow and assist with other duties as defined. This person is responsible for managing the various systems that are utilized by the national virtual program. This includes but is not limited to the SIS, LMS and Google platforms. The aim of the System Administrator is to align the outcome of the position’s responsibilities and deliverables with the strategic initiatives of Blue-X Virtual, while promoting the organization’s overall vision, objectives, goals and culture.



Requirements:

  • Understands the workflow and process requirements of complex application systems.

  Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Decision maker on system set up and support 
  • Establish and maintain systems settings for various states
  • Work with School leaders to understand data and produce reports needed to support teacher efforts and performance
  • Coordinate data reporting with Director of Systems to understand process and who is on point for various reports 
  • Conduct annual/semi-annual training for staff
  • Prepare training materials for the systems
  • Works to resolve help desk tickets
  • Assist with inventory for student loaner devices
  • All other duties as assigned
