Role Summary

The Marketing Creative Specialist is a design-first, creatively driven marketing professional who transforms strategic campaign direction into compelling creative, content, and multi-channel execution across digital, print, and experiential platforms. This role blends strong graphic design skills with hands-on content and digital execution, bringing marketing strategy to life through visually compelling, on-brand creative.

This is a highly collaborative, execution-focused role for a self-starter who is curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about creative marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Creative & Design Execution

  • Design and produce creative assets including:
    • Email graphics and layouts
    • Website banners and landing page visuals
    • Social media graphics and short-form content
    • Paid ad creative
    • Catalog layouts and supporting materials (as assigned)
    • Tradeshow signage and promotional materials
  • Ensure visual consistency across all channels and brand touchpoints
  • Edit and optimize photography for web, email, video, and digital content

Content & Campaign Execution

  • Execute content aligned to marketing strategy and seasonal campaigns
  • Own monthly social content calendar creation and execution stemming from leadership strategy
  • Create and support seasonal campaigns, vendor features, and brand storytelling initiatives
  • Film, edit, and revise short-form video content (reels, animations)
  • Write captions, light marketing copy, and asset-level messaging

Email & Digital Marketing Support

  • Build marketing emails from templates (design, layout, visual)
  • Support ActiveCampaign campaigns and automation workflows
  • Design landing page visuals and copy blocks and coordinate handoff to IT
  • Apply understanding of visuals and messaging that drive engagement and conversion

Collaboration & Workflow Ownership

  • Manage creative workflows and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Buying, Customer Service, and vendor partners
  • Support vendor creative needs, artwork, and campaign assets
  • Contribute to maintaining an organized imagery and asset pipeline

Success Metrics (KPIs)

  • On-time delivery of creative assets
  • Creative quality and brand consistency
  • Effective execution of campaigns across channels
  • Engagement metrics influenced by creative (CTR, opens, traffic, social engagement)
  • Responsiveness, reliability, and ownership of work

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design or creative marketing
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating digital and print design skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Experience designing for email, web, and digital campaigns
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Preferred

  • Experience with email marketing platforms (ActiveCampaign preferred)
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic landing page structure
  • Experience creating social content and short-form video
  • Understanding of print production processes
