Job description

Are you an expert at navigating complex projects from "Concept to Commissioning"? Blentech Corporation, a world leader in custom food processing technology, is seeking a Project Manager IV. At Blentech, we don't just build machines; we build high-performance systems for the world's most recognizable food brands. We need a strategic heavyweight-a leader who doesn't just manage high-value projects but elevates our entire project delivery standard.
The Role: The Architect of Project Excellence
As a Level IV Project Manager, you will oversee our most critical, multi-million dollar global accounts. You are the bridge between executive strategy and shop-floor execution, responsible for high-stakes decision-making and the continuous improvement of our project management lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Program Leadership: Lead the most complex, high-risk, or "first-of-its-kind" systems from Sales hand-off through commissioning
  • Account Growth & Advocacy: Act as a strategic partner to global customers, identifying opportunities for expanded scope and long-term partnership during the build cycle
  • Advanced Financial Oversight: Full P&L responsibility for assigned projects. You will analyze margin trends and implement cost-saving strategies across the project portfolio
  • Process Optimization: Serve as a mentor to Level I-III PMs. You will identify bottlenecks in our "Concept to Commissioning" workflow and champion process improvements
  • High-Stakes Coordination: Orchestrate massive, multi-phase logistics and installation schedules that require precision timing across international borders and complex site conditions
What You Bring to the Team
  • Experience: 12-15+ years of PM experience in capital equipment, industrial manufacturing, or heavy engineering. You have a proven track record of managing $5M+ individual project budgets
  • Education: BS in Engineering or a related technical field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred
  • Technical Authority: You possess a deep understanding of stainless-steel fabrication, automation integration, and thermodynamics. You can troubleshoot complex issues alongside Engineering and Fabrication teams
  • Certifications: PMP certification is required; Lean Six Sigma or similar process-improvement certification is a strong plus
  • Expert Influence: You are a master negotiator. You can navigate difficult conversations with C-suite executives and don't just react to shifts in priorities; you anticipate them and build contingency plans to lead diverse teams through high-pressure timelines
  • Strategic Adaptability: You keep the organization on track
  • Pay Range: $154,300 - $168,000
  • Schedule: Full-Time, on-site in Santa Rosa, CA
  • Up to 50% travel, Domestic and International
  • Perks: Comprehensive 100% paid benefits, 4% 401(k) match, and a leadership role in a stable, 35-year industry leader
