Job description

The Campus Production Manager plays a vital role in executing The Avenue Church's creative vision at the campus level by leading all aspects of production for worship services and ministry environments. This role is responsible for ensuring excellence in both in-room and broadcast experiences through the development of volunteers, stewardship of production systems, and execution of weekly services and special events.
This position works closely with the Service Programming Director and Campus Pastor to implement strategies that support the mission, vision, and culture of The Avenue Church. The Campus Production Manager will lead and develop volunteer production teams while ensuring all technical elements are prepared, aligned, and executed with consistency and excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Lead, recruit, train, and shepherd production volunteers to build healthy, sustainable, and growing teams
  • Oversee all technical execution of weekend services, midweek environments, and special events at the campus level
  • Collaborate with the Service Programming Director to plan and implement service elements that support the overall worship experience
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership in audio, video, lighting, and broadcast environments
  • Ensure all production systems and equipment are properly maintained, repaired, and functioning at a high level
  • Manage campus production inventory, including equipment lifecycle, upgrades, and budget considerations
  • Coordinate and support setup and teardown processes for all services and events
  • Assist in the design and implementation of stage environments, sets, and creative elements
  • Serve as the primary production liaison for campus ministries, providing support for events and environments across departments
  • Maintain consistency with The Avenue Church's brand, quality, and creative standards across all production environments

Oversight:
  • Production volunteers for weekend services, student ministry, and special events
  • Campus-wide production systems, equipment, and inventory
  • Audio, video, lighting, and broadcast environments across all venues
  • Coordination of equipment maintenance, repairs, and installations
  • Support for production needs across campus ministries
