What is a creative producer?

A creative producer is a key player in the early stages of film production. Their job is to pitch script ideas to a film producer and creative director. Job duties include connecting with literary agents and screenwriters to find scripts that have potential, adapting texts or literary works for film, collaborating with the creative director to bring the script idea to life, and helping hire a talented film production team.
