What you will be doing

TheManager, Centralized Pharmacy Servicesis responsible for the day-to-day supervising, directing, coaching, and motivating the pharmacy team in the Central Fulfillment site setting, ensuring operational efficiency and productivity. The Manager Centralized Pharmacy Services, reporting to the General Manager, will work closely with the IT Specialist, third-party vendors, human resources, company administration, and Production Maintenance Technicians to resolve technical, workflow, that have been escalated with a sense of purpose and urgency. The Manager Centralized Pharmacy Services must continuously evaluate and develop process improvements, quality control, and risk mitigation strategies, to ensure that CF meets production targets and KPIs.

The position will be based in 7001 S. Union Ridge Parkway Suite 110, Ridgefield, WA. The shift arrangement isaligned to the production shift arrangements. This position is a salaried management role. This is an onsite position.

Main responsibilities

People Leadership

  • Provide leadership and supervision for all activities of the functional teams.
  • Fully understands the roles of each functional team and how they should work together.
  • Hire, train, motivate, develop, evaluate, and manage functional leaders and team members.
  • Work well within a team environment with the General Manager, PIC, and other leaders at the site.
  • Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
  • Understands and complies with Best Practice Standards and execution by pharmacy staff when the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) is absent.
  • Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologies that facilitate proper counting, conveyance, packaging, and shipping of prescriptions as needed.
  • Serve in a leadership role for oversight and other visits.
  • Lead the safety program to ensure a Safety-First working environment and culture.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Work closely with PIC and general manager to facilitate development, evaluation, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for all operational functions.
  • Ensures site compliance for all federal, state, local regulations.

Operational Excellence

  • Become a subject matter expert for production line software/hardware, as well as each functional role.
  • Responsible for appropriate triaging of issues and escalations.
  • Monitoring and maintaining uptime of automated counting, collating, packaging, and sorting devices, ensuring continuous operation through basic troubleshooting of routine errors as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologies that facilitate proper counting, conveyance, packaging, and shipping of prescriptions as needed.
  • Continuously develop process improvements for personnel management, production line efficiency, and overall workflow.
  • All activities related to the preparation, verification, dispensing and sale of prescription and pharmacy related products as needed.

Strategic Partnership & Collaboration

  • Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience

Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years of Central Fulfillment, retail, mail order, or closed-door Pharmacy experience.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the CF home state.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for cross-training and in-person meetings.
  • Supervisory experience in a pharmacy production line, retail, mail order, or closed-door setting.
  • Supervisory experience across a large functional team building, motivating, and maintaining team performance.

Physical Requirements

  • Visual requirements include clarity of vision at more than 20 inches and less than 50 feet with depth perception and field of vision.
  • Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must participate in the production line floor at least 25% of a shift.
