Job Title: Junior Digital Project Manager - Podcast & Video Production
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite 4 days/week)
Position Type: 18-Month Contract
About the Role
Join an enterprise creative and media production team as a Junior Digital Project Manager specializing in podcast and video production. In this role, you will combine agile project coordination with media production support to deliver engaging digital audio series, social video assets, and multimedia marketing campaigns. You will partner closely with creative directors, technical specialists, compliance stakeholders, and external distribution networks to steer multimedia projects from early planning through post-production delivery and distribution.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate end-to-end production workflows for episodic podcasts, social video campaigns, and direct-to-production video deliverables.
  • Manage job tracking, milestone scheduling, and asset delivery within enterprise project management systems (e.g., Adobe Workfront).
  • Route creative assets through internal legal, compliance, and public communications approval processes.
  • Track project milestones, identify bottlenecks, mitigate operational risks, and maintain up-to-date documentation for cross-functional reporting.
  • Maintain central content calendars, editorial pipelines, and asset inventories.
  • Provide production coordination support on film shoots and in-studio recording sessions, including managing call sheets, logging session notes, and supporting logistics.
  • Manage audio transcription workflows, quality-checking transcripts for style, accuracy, and formatting.
  • Coordinate digital publishing and asset uploads across content management systems, video channels, and audio hosting platforms (e.g., Spotify, YouTube, Drupal, Simplecast).

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Production, Digital Marketing, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in audio/video production, media coordination, or digital project management within an agency, production house, or corporate creative team.
  • Demonstrated understanding of pre-production, filming, post-production, and digital publishing pipelines.
  • Practical familiarity with the podcasting ecosystem, hosting platforms, and audio syndication workflows.
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and stakeholder communication skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using enterprise workflow and project management platforms such as Adobe Workfront, Jira, Asana, or Slack.
  • Exposure to corporate creative operations within regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or technology.
