Position Summary

The Manager, Project Management for CVS Health's Specialty, Platform and Digital Solutions organization is an important contributor to guaranteeing operational excellence across the teams. The role reports to the organizational Chief of Staff and works with stakeholders and cross-functional colleagues to ensure effective project and expense reporting, data integrity, and the successful execution of specified initiatives. The individual plans, monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion and secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes. The role works under leadership direction to develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and visualizations, and delivers clear, data driven insights to support operational decision making.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Under general direction, leads the planning and execution of key organizational projects, ensuring consistent alignment with organizational goals and timelines, focused on:
  • Staffing and expense reporting, including requisition, headcount, and contractor metrics
    • Develops change management plans and strategies to minimize resistance and ensure successful adoption
    • Conducts project post-mortems to capture and apply lessons learned to identify areas for improvement and shares process enhancements to optimize project management practices
    • Identifies project risks and issues, develops risk mitigation strategies, and establishes contingency plans
    • Prepares and delivers project progress reports, highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Managing the Contractor process end to end
  • Financial tracking: budgets/forecasts
  • Security vulnerability tracking
  • Procurement and vendor management: manage and track purchases and vendor agreements; ensure compliance with corporate policies and best practices
  • Creative content generation for leadership presentations/ppt decks

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years work experience within a technology company or a software engineering domain
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data
  • Strong critical thinking skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork
  • Superior execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within the healthcare sector


Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
