As the authorized Caterpillar dealer across major portions of Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula, we provide equipment, power systems, parts, service, rental solutions, and technology to customers across a wide range of industries. Why Work For Us!
At Fabick Cat, our employees are part of a company with more than a century of history and a long-term commitment to our customers, employees, and communities. Our culture is grounded in our STRIDE values: Safety, Trustworthiness, Respect, Impact, Dedication, and Excellence. These values shape how we work together, serve our customers, and continue moving Fabick Cat forward. Fabick Cat offers a competitive total compensation and benefits package along with the opportunity to build a meaningful career within one of the most recognized names in the industries we serve.
Position Summary
Fabick Cat is looking for an experienced Marketing Operations Manager to lead the people, processes, and execution behind some of our most visible marketing and customer-focused initiatives. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who knows how to bring structure to big ideas, develop talented people, and turn strategy into action. You'll lead a collaborative marketing team while partnering with leaders and business units across Fabick Cat to execute campaigns, digital initiatives, communications, events, promotions, and customer experience programs. You'll have the opportunity to shape how work gets done within Marketing - improving processes, establishing priorities, developing team members, removing roadblocks, and creating the clarity and accountability needed to deliver great work.
We're looking for a leader who can see the big picture without losing sight of execution. Someone who is comfortable making decisions, navigating competing priorities, collaborating across functions, and staying connected to the work while empowering their team to succeed. For the right person, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both the Marketing team and the broader organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of marketing professionals, including Marketing Coordinators, Digital Specialist, and creative support resources.
  • Oversee the day-to-day prioritization, workflow, and execution of marketing projects and initiatives supporting multiple business units.
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear plans, timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.
  • Partner with Marketing leadership and business leaders to understand needs, establish priorities, and develop effective approaches to execution.
  • Oversee the coordination and execution of integrated campaigns, promotions, communications, events, digital initiatives, creative projects, and customer-facing programs.
  • Create clarity around priorities and help the team successfully manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Identify and remove roadblocks while proactively addressing risks, resource needs, and competing priorities.
  • Build strong collaboration across creative, digital, customer support, events, sales, and business unit teams.
  • Establish and maintain high standards for quality, consistency, communication, brand experience, and customer experience.
  • Improve marketing workflows, processes, tools, and ways of working to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Help establish meaningful measures of success and use results and feedback to continuously improve marketing execution.
  • Build strong relationships with external vendors and partners and help ensure quality, timelines, and expectations are consistently met.
  • Foster a team culture built around collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional work.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant professional experience will also be considered.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, marketing operations, project management, integrated marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience leading, coaching, or developing employees and building effective teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects and multiple priorities across teams or business units.
  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Experience coordinating integrated marketing campaigns, creative projects, promotions, communications, events, or digital initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to create clarity and move work forward.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at multiple levels of an organization.
  • Strong understanding of customer-focused marketing and digital engagement.
  • Experience managing vendors, agency partners, or other external resources.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and follow-through.

You'll Be Successful Here If You
  • Enjoy leading people and helping them grow.
  • Naturally bring organization and clarity to complex work.
  • Take ownership and follow through on commitments.
  • Can prioritize effectively when multiple opportunities compete for attention.
  • Approach challenges with curiosity and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Communicate clearly and build trust across different teams and personalities.
  • Are comfortable making decisions while knowing when to bring others into the conversation.
  • Enjoy improving processes rather than simply working around them.
  • Stay close enough to the work to understand what's happening while giving your team the ownership and support they need to succeed.
  • Care about both the quality of the work and the experience of the customer.

Why This Opportunity
Marketing at Fabick Cat touches nearly every part of the customer journey.
