TITLE Marketing Assistant DEPARTMENT Marketing REPORTS TO Marketing Director

EMPLOYMENT ☐ Temporary ☒ Full-Time ☐ Part-Time FLSA STATUS ☒ Non-Exempt ☐ Exempt

Location: Hybrid

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Marketing Assistant supports the planning, execution, and coordination of marketing initiatives that promote the company's products, services, and brand. This role assists with content creation, social media management, events, promotional campaigns, customer communications, and administrative marketing activities. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Marketing & Brand Support

· Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns.

· Coordinate marketing materials, advertisements, and promotional activities.

· Maintain brand consistency across all marketing communications.

· Support the creation and distribution of marketing collateral, including social content, newsletters, and sales presentations.

Content & Social Media:

· Create and schedule social media content across multiple platforms.

· Monitor social media engagement and respond to inquiries as directed.

· Assist with photography, video content, and graphic design projects.

· Update website content and ensure information remains current and accurate.

Events & Promotions:

· Assist with company events, trade shows, product demonstrations, and community outreach activities.

· Assist with event planning logistics, promotional materials, and vendor communications.

· Support customer sampling programs, product launches, and retail promotions.

Marketing Administration:

· Maintain marketing calendars and project timelines.

· Organize digital assets, marketing files, and promotional inventory.

· Track marketing expenses and assist with budget reporting.

· Manage mailing lists and customer databases.

· Prepare reports on campaign performance and marketing metrics.

Sales Support:

· Assist the sales team with presentations, product information, and customer-facing materials.

· Coordinate promotional requests and point-of-sale materials.

· Support lead generation activities and customer follow-up initiatives.


Education:

· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.

· Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


Experience:

· 1-3 years of marketing, communications, or administrative experience preferred.

· Experience with social media platforms and content creation.

· Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, and marketing software preferred (Adobe Illustrator).

Skills & Abilities

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
