Job Description
The Cricut Creative Department is a multi-faceted team of dreamers and doers who bring the Cricut brand to life through exceptional creative content. This in-house team turns business strategy into visual reality with best-in-class, forward-thinking solutions that consider the full scope of consumer touchpoints. The team is comprised of four key areas: Design, Copy, Multimedia Design, and Operations. Together, their work helps people lead creative lives.
The Creative Department's Design Team is a highly-collaborative group of channel experts who amplify Marketing strategy and Concept's look and feel through the design and delivery of content at scale. This team knows the purpose and nuance of every consumer touchpoint and ensures the visual expression of Cricut's creative content is most relevant and impactful to our target audiences. Since they are accountable for final delivery of assets, they will lead optimization and redelivery of assets based on business needs.
We're looking for an experienced and inspiring Manager, Digital Design to lead our team of talented digital designers. This leader is responsible for developing a high-performing team, elevating creative quality, driving operational excellence, and ensuring exceptional execution across every digital customer touchpoint.
As a Manager, Digital Design at Cricut, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing compelling, on-brand digital assets across a wide range of channels, including our website, email campaigns, product detail pages (PDPs), Design Space, and paid media such as Facebook ads. This management role is ideal for an experienced creative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong eye for detail, and brings innovative ideas to the table.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of Digital Designers by providing regular mentorship, actionable feedback, and design coaching
  • Champion Cricut's visual identity by maintaining exceptional standards of design quality, consistency, accessibility, and usability across all digital experiences
  • Use customer insights, performance metrics, testing results, and analytics to inform creative decisions and continuously optimize digital experiences
  • Ensure creative excellence across all digital channels, including Cricut.com, Product Detail Pages (PDPs), email, Design Space, paid media, social media, retail digital experiences, and other consumer-facing touchpoints
  • Review creative work, providing thoughtful feedback that elevates both the quality of the work and the capabilities of the team
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Global Product Management, Copy, and DTC to ensure visual consistency across platforms
  • Establish and govern Cricut's digital design system by defining standards, promoting consistency across customer touchpoints, and ensuring scalable, efficient design practices across the team
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive design tasks and improve creative workflows through technology, allowing designers to spend more time on execution
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented team culture that encourages creativity, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning
  • Stay informed on emerging design trends, technologies, AI capabilities, accessibility standards, and digital best practices to continually evolve Cricut's creative organization

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 7+ years of experience in digital design, with at least 2 years managing creative teams
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital work, including responsive web, email, social, and ad design
  • Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Deep understanding of digital design systems, responsive design, accessibility standards, UX best practices, and e-commerce experiences
  • Experience balancing multiple priorities while leading teams through fast-paced product launches and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong project prioritization, resource planning, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Interest in crafting, DIY, or Cricut's product ecosystem is a plus
  • Motion graphics or light animation skills (e.g., After Effects) are a plus
