Job Description
WHAT DOES A CREATIVE DIRECTOR, ART DO?
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Creative Director to lead our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creative direction, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for innovation. As a Creative Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of creative concepts that align with brand vision and marketing objectives.
  • Think and execute. Exceptional conceptual abilities and creative direction talent within a multimedia landscape.
  • Passionate about creating work that matters.
  • Be curious. Must have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge - of the problem, the possible solutions and our target - in order to discover the big ideas that matter.
  • Inspire. Not only must you know the trends and innovations in healthcare marketing, but you need to set the stage for the next wave.
  • Push the envelope. Leverage industry knowledge and creative chops to push past the expected option into compelling work that drives behavior.
  • Be a leader and collaborator. Manage the team through experience, empowerment and autonomy to foster great work and growth. Bring laughs. Leave ego.
  • Present to persuade. Eloquently explain every aspect of a creative solution and how it solves the client challenge. This means leading rock-solid pitch efforts and presentation prowess.

Qualifications
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • 12+ years of digital, print, traditional and trade marketing experience
  • Two+ years' experience in pharmaceutical marketing, with drug launch know-how highly valued
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing and all that it entails: disease state and product science, therapeutic industry standards, legal restrictions and competitive markets
  • Knowledge and background in working with therapeutic clients
  • Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent in education + experience)
  • Book of strategic and beautiful work
  • Management and supervisory skill set; sense of humor
  • An understanding of both the creative and strategic aspects of advertising and leadership
