Senior Consultant, Flexible Consumption Billing implementation

Work you'll do
As a Senior Consultant, Flexible Consumption Billing Implementation, you will:
  • Design and implement Zuora-based subscription and consumption billing solutions that help clients transform billing operations, improve revenue lifecycle processes, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Work as part of integrated project teams across the full engagement lifecycle, from strategy and requirements through solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with client executives, sponsors, and cross-functional stakeholders to support alignment, issue resolution, and delivery progress.
  • Deliver key components of client engagements, including business requirements, solution design, vendor evaluation, implementation planning, integration approach, and launch readiness.
  • Support business development efforts, including pursuit support, proposal development, and input to pricing and delivery strategy.
A successful candidate would possess these skills:
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Ability to communicate complex system concepts to a business audience in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience with successfully leading complex engagements, both business and technical, including multiple dependencies and integration points
  • Experience identifying creative solutions within configurable cloud systems or within boundary applications where customization is required
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications
Required:
  • 6+ years of experience delivering cloud-based subscription billing solutions within consulting or industry
  • 2+ years of experience implementing subscription billing platforms such as Zuora Billing, Oracle NetSuite Billing Platform, or SAP BRIM
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
  • 3+ years of experience with subscription billing requirements, solution design, and platform configuration
  • 2+ years of experience designing or optimizing lead-to-cash and record-to-report processes and end-to-end system architecture
  • 2+ years of experience across software development life cycle phases, including design, build, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and support
  • 2+ years of experience applying Agile and Scrum methodologies to business or technology solutions
  • 2+ years of experience designing integrations between billing or invoicing systems and enterprise resource planning or general ledger
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $110,700 - $218,300.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
