Performance Creative Lead

Neighbor

Lehi, UT

Full-time

Posted 25 days ago

Job description

At Neighbor, we’re building the largest hyperlocal storage and parking marketplace in the world. We’ve raised over $75 million from top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz and the CEOs of DoorDash, StockX, and Uber. Our marketplace operates in all 50 states, and we’re just getting started!

About the Role

Neighbor is looking for a talented, high-agency person to own and accelerate our paid creative engine. The mission is to make our ad creatives the best-performing asset in our growth stack.

Paid social lives or dies on ad creative. You’ll own the ad creatives end to end: from the first customer insight, through concept, brief, and production, to delivery and the performance readout that starts the next cycle.

This is a true ownership role reporting into our Creative Director. You’ll sit next to our paid social media buyer and direct the work of our designers and video editors. The role is equal parts creative strategy (personas, hooks, messaging frameworks, testing roadmaps) and production ops (briefs, timelines, feedback loops, shipped assets) with full accountability for performance.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Mine customer research, reviews, CX feedback, and ad performance data for the insights that become winning concepts.
  • Build persona-based messaging for both sides of our marketplace (hosts and renters), and write direct-response copy yourself: hooks, video scripts, captions, and headlines.
  • Create briefs rooted in a hypothesis and a success metric, and direct designers, editors, and UGC creators from kickoff through delivery.
  • Own the production pipeline end to end: prioritization, timelines, handoffs, QA, and enough weekly creative volume to feed the account without starving quality.
  • Build and run a UGC pipeline: source creators, conduct customer interviews, and extract the language, stories, and moments that become winning creative.
  • Run the creative testing roadmap (every ad in-market is a hypothesis) and publish learning recaps the whole team acts on.
  • Partner daily with the media buyer on what’s winning, what’s fatiguing, and what launches next.
  • Own performance metrics including hook rate, hold rate, CTR, and the ROAS  of new creative
  • Create a library of learnings: what hooks, angles, and formats work for each persona - that compounds and gets better over time
  • Use AI tools across the workflow: research, scripting, static and video generation, and asset organization.
Qualifications
Required
  • 5+ years of experience in performance creative, creative strategy, or growth marketing at a DTC brand, marketplace, or agency, ideally with Meta as a primary channel.
  • Proof of breakthrough work. You can walk us through specific campaigns or accounts you've grown, with the numbers, creative, and story to back it up.
  • Strong direct-response copywriting; fluent in paid social and creative analytics.
  • Track record of running a creative production pipeline (briefs, creators, editors, deadlines) that ships a high volume of deliverables on time.
  • Comfortable being measured on output performance, not effort.
  • Ability to prioritize ruthlessly and stay organized across multiple concepts at different stages of production.
Nice to haves
  • Hands-on editing or design skills (CapCut, Premiere, Figma, or similar).
  • UGC creator sourcing and management experience.
  • AI-native production workflows and a grounding in consumer psychology or direct-response classics.
Benefits
  • Stock options
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Generous PTO
  • 11 paid company holidays
  • 401(k) plan
  • Infant care leave
  • On-site gym/showers open 24/7
How to Apply

Click the "Apply for this job" link in the posting.

  • Be sure to add a link to your portfolio in the "other website" field on the application.

We want to see your actual work, especially the stuff that broke through and drove real results.

Pick the pieces you're proudest of and come ready to talk through both sides: what made them land creatively and what they returned in performance.
