What the Senior Recruiter does at Worldwide Clinical Trials

The Senior Recruiter (contract) conducts strategies for the sourcing, screening, selection, and appointment of high-caliber candidates for the company.

Using professional expertise, the Senior Recruiter ensures that open vacancies are managed effectively, that high-quality candidates are readily available, and that Worldwide Clinical Trials maintains a consistent corporate image with a high-quality candidate experience.

What you will do

  • Independently develops and administers staffing/employment/recruiting programs

  • Works with hiring manager to document requirements of job openings as required opening requisition(s)

  • Determines appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting key positions

  • Promotes the company image to candidates and external service providers

  • Surfaces candidates and develops networks of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates

  • Pre-screens resumes and evaluates the effectiveness of electronic candidate evaluation tools

  • Documents candidate evaluation and interview process

  • May negotiate and/or support hiring manager and HR Business Partner in developing new hire compensation package/offers

  • Ensure the conduct of employment background checks

  • Works with 3rd party recruiters, ensuring a strong relationship and clear understanding of Worldwide Clinical Trials' needs

  • Ensure that relevant systems are maintained with all required information

  • Ensures that Worldwide Clinical Trials at all times complies with legal requirements

  • Compiles data as required to provide an analysis of the recruitment process

  • Undertakes project assignments as required, aimed at improving the company's recruitment activity

  • Coaches more junior team members

Your experience

  • Degree or equivalent plus 4 years related experience

  • Experience of having worked in the Clinical Operations environment, whilst not essential, is a distinct advantage

  • Experience in recruitment, whilst not essential, is a distinct advantage

Promotion to the next level is not automatic based on years of experience. Personnel are evaluated on proven competency, level of responsibility, and ability to work independently.

The salary range for this position is annually (For hourly paid positions, the stated salary range reflects hourly rates):


United States of America - $69,500.00 - $138,500.00


The salary range provided is intended to give candidates an understanding of potential earnings. Compensation will fall within the provided range, and it not a guarantee of exact salary. The final salary will be determined based on relevant experience, performance, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, we offer a competitive benefits package depending on location. We ensure pay equity and transparency and comply with all applicable labor laws. Salary information will be discussed during the interview process, and we encourage candidates to inquire about compensation at any stage.
