Position: Sr. Strategist, Out-of-Home BuyingCompany: Mediassociates, 75 Glen Road, Sandy Hook, CT 06482Overview:

It leverages an approach called Precision Branding to guide brands in planning communication campaigns with a focus on predicting, measuring, and optimizing business outcomes. Out-of-Home Buying
  • Negotiate and execute OOH placements across roadside bulletins, transit, street-level, airport, place-based/venue, aerial, and high-impact digital formats (urban panels, liveboards, spectaculars), including rate, added value, and contract terms
  • Manage a mix of annual permanent programs, flighted buys, and rotary programs across multiple markets, states, and international placements
  • Conduct tactical research and vendor/market evaluation using audience measurement tools and location data to build data-driven recommendations
  • Own proof-of-performance (POP) tracking throughout campaigns, including rotary location changes and creative swaps, and deliver post-campaign analysis
  • Plan, negotiate, and implement programmatic OOH buys, conducting in-flight optimization
  • Evaluate sponsorship packages and new partnership opportunities, including pre- and post-campaign/event performance reviews as well as renewal recommendations
  • Respond to ad hoc RFPs and incremental budget requests with quick-turn plans and recommendations
Campaign & Team Operations
  • Serve as primary vendor contact for OOH partners; cultivate rep relationships and surface rate and value-add opportunities
  • Craft and present OOH media recommendations to internal planning/strategy teams and clients
  • Manage creative specs, production timelines, and trafficking deadlines with vendors and creative partners
  • Maintain media calendars, budget tracking, billing, and financial reconciliation, including discrepancy resolution and audit-ready documentation
  • Support measurement workflows, including attention-based reporting dashboards and OOH inputs to multi-touch attribution (MTA) and media mix modeling (MMM)
  • Provide QA oversight and mentorship to junior buyers, as applicable
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of media buying experience with hands-on OOH and dOOH buying required
  • Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to internal teams and clients
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership: tactical research, RFP'ing vendor reps, building the recommendation, negotiating, activating, and reporting out performance
  • Experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing buys from authorization through reconciliation
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage many concurrent campaigns, vendors, and deadlines across a multi-client portfolio
  • Proficiency with OOH audience measurement and location data tools (Geopath or equivalent)
  • Programmatic OOH buying experience across DSP or vendor-side platforms
  • International OOH buying experience a plus
  • Familiarity with MTA and/or MMM measurement approaches a plus
