The Role

Collaborates with the Vice President of Creative and Marketing on the development, implementation and management of the visual identity of the DRC, its events and programs, and its affiliate brands. The Manager is responsible for creating visuals in line with the DRC's brand standards and upholding the integrity of the brand through coordination with DRC staff, members and partners. This employee supports the Vice President as needed for all print, digital or photo needs.

Reporting Structure

This individual will report directly to the Vice President of Creative and Marketing and assist with overall operations of this team.

  • Leads designs and produces digital marketing elements for websites, email templates, social media platforms and other event promotional materials.
  • Leads designs and produces print marketing materials including organizational reports, sponsor signs, ads, flyers and event branding.
  • Designs and produces PowerPoint templates and presentations for DRC events and meetings.
  • Researches and remains abreast of innovative materials, methods and techniques related to graphic design.
  • Maintains DRC brand standards with all graphic design executions.
  • Manages concurrent design projects in a fast-paced environment while always delivering creative that is accurate and consistent.
  • Manages and maintains graphic libraries and uses standards, including logos, photos and art for the DRC, its programs and its members.
  • Researches and develops design concepts for DRC events, initiatives and sub-brands.
  • Regularly evaluates DRC creative strategy to make recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
  • Collaborates with DRC departments and maintains project system for non-event marketing needs.
  • Manages content library (OneDrive files) ensuring efficient utilization and organization of DRC visual content.
  • Supports the Vice President as secondary point of contact for print, promotional and other marketing vendors.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with marketing and creative vendors to ensure business continuity.
  • Brainstorms and presents design concepts for non-templated DRC events and projects.
  • Bachelor's degree required and three years related experience.
  • Professional and comprehensive experience in an applicable field and/or with an organization that is similar in mission and activities to the DRC.
