How much do creative assistant jobs pay per hour?
What is the difference between Creative Assistant vs Graphic Designer?
| Aspect | Creative Assistant | Graphic Designer |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Typically a high school diploma or associate's degree; some roles prefer a bachelor's in art or design | Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or related field |
| Work Environment | Supportive roles in creative teams, often in agencies or corporate settings | Design studios, advertising agencies, or in-house corporate teams |
| Responsibilities | Assisting with project prep, research, basic design tasks, and administrative support | Creating visual concepts, designing layouts, and producing final artwork |
While both roles support creative projects, a Creative Assistant primarily provides support and performs basic tasks, whereas a Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and executing visual designs.
