Creative Strategist

Rocket Money’s mission is to empower people to live their best financial lives. Rocket Money offers members a unique understanding of their finances and a suite of valuable services that save them time and money – ultimately giving them a leg up on their financial journey.

Reporting to the Head of Creative, you will help lead creative experimentation roadmap to drive performance across Rocket Money’s digital acquisition channels. You’ll own the execution and analysis of creative testing across paid channels. As a key player on the growth team, you’ll help shape strategy, uncover creative insights, and push the boundaries of creative performance. This is a high-impact role in a fast-scaling environment, perfect for someone eager to accelerate growth through data-driven creative innovation.

Specifically, you will:

  • Help the development and execution of Rocket Money’s creative testing roadmap, driving scale and efficiency across both digital and offline channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to design, implement, and optimize creative experiments. You will recommend testing approaches, monitor performance, analyze results, and translate insights into clear creative direction that continuously elevates the team's output.
  • Conduct in-depth creative performance analyses, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations for the creative team to enhance future campaigns.
  • Establish yourself as an expert in creative experimentationwithin the app and web user acquisition space. You will stay up to date on industry trends and emerging opportunities, ensuring we lead the charge in creative innovation. Your ability to understand and leverage data sources will be essential in evaluating and refining creative test outcomes.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends byresearching the latest algorithmic insights, creative trends (paid and organic), and forging strong partnerships with channel representatives (Meta, TikTok, Youtube, and other key platforms) to identify and capitalize oncreative testing opportunitiesthat drive scale and growth.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team byregularly sharing data-driven trends and the outcomes of creative experiments.
  • 2-4 years of experience in user acquisition or data-driven marketing at a high-growth startup/company or media agency.
  • Excellent project management skills, balancing multiple creative projects and experiments.
  • Ability to manage a testing roadmap, prioritize experiments, and work cross-functionally with creative, media buying, and data teams to drive growth through discovering creative wins.
  • Analytical with a focus on key growth KPIs (ROAS, CAC, LTV:CAC, etc.) and the ability to translate data into actionable creative strategies.
  • Expertise in mobile app user acquisition; web acquisition experience is a plus.
  • Familiar with creative testing platforms and optimization across paid social channels.
  • A curious problem solver who challenges the status quo and uses data or experiments to uncover insights.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, aligning teams on testing strategies and optimization plans.

Salary range: $95,000 – $125,000/year + bonus + benefits. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
