JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Penn State Berkey Creamery is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist with all aspects of our commissary department in a part-time position.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Following all food safety policies and practices
  • Packaging and labeling cheese
  • Making and packaging dips
  • Making and packaging ice cream sandwiches
  • Preparing yogurt cups
  • Stocking and rotating product
  • Inventorying supplies
  • Maintaining organization and cleanliness in all areas
  • Working independently as well as working with a team

Individuals with a food science background are encouraged to apply; however, this is not mandatory to be hired.

We offer flexible scheduling based on class and/or activity schedules.

Preference given to those who are able to work summers and University breaks.
