Custodial Team Member, Part-Time, Orlando, FL
Starting hourly rate of $15.00/hour, must have open availability, days and nights.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
To maintain environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures of The Crayola Experience. Employees will perform and oversee a variety of janitorial, custodial tasks to maintain a clean and safe building.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Cleans and services restrooms.
  • Sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors and stairways.
  • Gathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials.
  • Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Dusts such items as furniture, file cabinets, and windowsills using treated dust mittens, cloths, or hand-cleaning items.
  • Maintains an inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies.
  • May perform snow removal and salting duties at entrance ways to The Crayola Experience.
  • Assists with evacuations and emergencies as needed.
  • Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • General decision regarding cleaning assignments will be made on a daily basis as needed according to the volume of people.
  • Responsibility for monitoring activity areas for cleanliness and determining how to adapt the facilitation of an area due to visitor volume or visitor needs.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Prior experience cleaning a family attraction, institutional or educational setting preferred.
  • Required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to follow detailed directions.
  • Must be able to complete tasks quickly and effectively.
  • Must maintain prompt and regular attendance.
  • Strong oral, interpersonal and customer service skills required.
  • Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Must maintain First Aid and CPR certification and be familiar with infectious materials clean-up and removal.
