Role Purpose

The Specialty Meats Manager is responsible for the oversight of the meat department team and the expert presentation of our signature products. This role ensures that employee morale remains high while producing exceptional, seasoned, and stuffed meats that meet our 39-year legacy of quality. You will be the primary lead for production standards, showcase aesthetics, and team development.

Store Responsibilities
  • Expert Production: Lead the team in cutting meats and creating specialty items, such as our famous deboned stuffed chickens, marinated meats, and fresh sausages.
  • Showcase Excellence: Oversee the meat showcase to ensure it is visually appealing, fully stocked, and organized according to company standards.
  • Quality Control: Manage product rotation (FIFO) and freshness checks to ensure every customer receives the best quality product.
  • Operations & Hygiene: Maintain a gold standard of cleanliness for all equipment, prep rooms, and display cases, ensuring full compliance with food safety regulations.
Team Leadership
  • Task Management: Ensure the team understands their specific responsibilities and daily production goals.
  • Training & Mentorship: Train employees on specific Cajun seasoning techniques and prep styles to maximize productivity and ensure brand consistency.
