Currently we have an immediate need to add an experienced:
Instructional Designer
Location: Chantilly VA (on-site client environment)
Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph
Compensation: Competitive, Excellent Benefits
Only applicants with the active required security clearance and are U.S. Citizens will be reviewed.
In this role, you will be a part of a larger team compromised of additional project managers and technical SME's and work in collaboration with other existing staff to help plan, lead and and develop the training of mission-critical topics for our customer.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance
  • Demonstrated experience developing and refining curriculum and training courses and adult learners on non-technical subjects
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field - additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a college degree.
  • Experience in creating courses that engage, motivate, and are learner-centered, regardless of modality (face-to-face, online, or blended), and regardless of technical platform.
  • Experience utilizing the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Implementation, and Evaluation) model, SAM (Successive Approximation Model), or other similar instructional design models.
  • Demonstrated experience selecting and developing instructional strategies that create the appropriate condition for learners to achieve their objectives, and the objectives of the customer's organization at large.
  • Experience teaching subject matters that are pertinent to our customer's specific domains.
  • DESIRED: ATD Instructional Design Certificate
  • DESIRED: Certified Instructional Designer/Developer (CIDD) certification, and/or an Articulate Storyline Certification
  • DESIRED: Certified Professional in Learning Development (CPLP) or Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) certification
