Vector Solutions is seeking a Salesforce CPQ Administrator to own the vision for and lead the development of our Salesforce Sales Cloud / CPQ platform under the guidance of our Director of Revenue Systems. This role will serve as subject matter expert on Salesforce CPQ projects, responsible for client delivery, proposals, new business opportunities, and knowledge management across our sectors. This role will serve as a true business partner, working cross functionally with Sales, Product, Pricing, Marketing, Finance, CX, and others. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for driving process enhancements to the system while partnering with business stakeholders to ensure needs are met.


What You'll Do:

  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Sales Cloud / CPQ platform, articulating the pros and cons of various solution approaches.
  • Enact process enhancements, improvements, and changes to the Sales Cloud and CPQ quoting, approvals, and document generation system.
  • Facilitate Salesforce CPQ thought leadership and educate internal stakeholders on platform best practices and ensure adherence to established process across teams.
  • Create and maintain all customer facing document generation / E-Signature processes via Conga Composer / Conga Sign, or similar tools.
  • Provide expertise and recommendations to estimate the technical level of effort needed to complete internal requests and projects.
  • Own responsibility for ongoing configuration and development on Salesforce projects.
  • Project management responsibilities, taking a consultative approach to achieve department objectives and enabling the business in an efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of functional, hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing within the Salesforce declarative toolset.
  • 2+ years managing Doc Gen and E-Sign tools integrated within Salesforce.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional user stories and design scalable best practice solutions using Salesforce CPQ, along with a suite of 3rd party applications.
  • Strong Business Analyst skills, able to approach business partners in consultative dialogue about needs and issues. Adept at discovering and defining the โ€œrealโ€ problem stakeholders are experiencing.
  • General business process experience across Sales, Renewals, Operations, Finance, Accounting, etc.
  • Naturally inquisitive and able to require business justifications before making changes; demonstrated ability to push back in an appropriate and respectful manner when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • This role will require candidates to be located in Central or Eastern time zones.
