Job description

CPL Field Specialist

The CPL Field Specialist is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. The CPL Field Specialist identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manages risk during service delivery. Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time. Responsible for service delivery execution. Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs. Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services. Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the CAT, self-assessments, and wellsite inspections. Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans. Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives. Wear PPE and observe HSE policies. Maintain the required safety training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver equipment to job sites.
  • Train wireline personnel and customers on equipment usage.
  • Conduct daily check-ins with customers.
  • Ensure job success and gather signed field tickets for invoicing.
  • Assist shop personnel with job preparation.

Experience & Skills

  • Years of Experience: 0โ€“3 years preferred; wireline experience is a plus.
  • Top Skills: Communication, computer proficiency, mechanical aptitude.

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Forklift certification is a plus but will be recertified.

Work Environment

  • Based at Midland, TX facility.
  • Mix of field work, customer site visits, and shop support.
  • PPE provided (except steel-toe boots, which are preferred to bring).

Training

Initial training at SLB's Kellyville training center.

Schedule

No fixed rotation. Typically 12โ€“14 hour days, not including drive time.
